Half arsed update...
I've realised that I haven't updated since the end of dec. I promised myself I was going to get better at updating livejournal but unlike life_o_chris who has got himself super sorted because it's New Years and all that, I seem to have completely lost the plot and been going out every single night. I do remember that I met up with Helena 3 nights ago for the first time, after doing my English lesson with Chie and I took her to the pub with me and we met 2 crazy Canadian people who wanted to go to karaoke with us so we ended up doing that till 5am, I swear Chie must think all gaijins are totally weird now. I met up with Ed and Helena again 2 nights ago, Ed got to cross the massive crossing at Shibuya which was one of his goals so that was good, went to an Izakaya (pub type thing) had food and drinks, went to What the Dickens (an English pub) you really can't tell that you're in Japan when you are in that pub (apart from the prices) then we were supposed to go clubbing but I just couldn't be arsed with it all so I went home early about (1am ish). I was invited out again last night but realised that I have uni tomorrow so I was trying to get back into a "normal" sleeping pattern, whatever that may be, but didn't end up going to bed till 2am, so I might as well have gone out and had a good time, oh well nevermind.
Helena and Ed also told me some really useful information, we (people at Oxford Brookes doing Japanese) only have to pass our Japanese modules, not our other classes. I can't believe I have to go back to Obirin tomorrow (I can't cope with it) I wish I was in life_o_chris position, if I had no money then it means I wouldn't be able to go out and I would actually end up achieving something. I think life_o_chris Japanese is going to be about ten times better than mine because he is actually studying and doing stuff, by that I mean useful stuff. Well, I am off to Ginza soon to have my hair cut and take some passport photos for my new Japanese passport (muth lost my old one) and I supposed I better check what h/w is due tomorrow... I just know my passport photo is going to be weird and I'll be stuck with it for 10 years...gay
