I'm so excited. I've made like five new friends today. I could pee!
I woke up at 10:40 something and walked to the postal office and then just walked straight on to the gas station. I took the camera with me, and therefore got some odd looks from passers by. Oh well, they all know me and they all know I'm odd.

After a day that started out so nice (it was 66 degrees when we woke up!) it went down hill so quickly, it got very cold and we found out we are bored. We went shopping but it wasn't all that fun. I got angry about the fact that I couldn't get this whole amount of yarn thing figured out for the next afghan I wanted to start and so I just bought ( Read more... )

I just found out that our family dog (back home in PA) has passed away. She was like a little sister to me, and I've often told my family I want her to come visit me in IL, and they can stay home. I've missed her much in the last couple of years and the fact that I'll never see her again is really hard.
