I watched Sin City on the weekend (yes, it took me this long to get around to it), and I loved it. The movie was so stylishly well-done, I was completely captivated from start to finish. Hilarity! XDD I don't know if the whole emo thing was intentionally poking fun at the stereotype, or if the makers didn't realise just how ridiculous it was, but either way it was incredibly funny. As anticipated, The Prestige is a great movie, although the twist wasn't as shocking as in Memento (I sort of guessed this one's towards the end). Went to see Pirates of the Carribean 2 - Dead Man's Chest last night with a couple of high school friends, etc. Tickets were almost sold out when we bought them so we were really worried we wouldn't get seats, but as it turned out it wasn't too bad. Went and saw X-men 3: The Last Stand last night. It was okay, not as good as the first two, IMO, and the ending was a bit weak but what can you expect from trying to rework a storyline as long and convoluted as the X-men comics into 3 feature length movies?
