Ally watches TV!

Hello! Gosh it's been a while since we've spoken! I've really got to keep this thing up to date more. So I have some shows to talk about and we're gonna talk about them here! First, Once Upon A Time, then The Carrie Diaries.

Child Of The Moon - I liked it! Again the casting directors on Once did something right, Meghan really looks like Annabeth Gish, damn. I really liked how they showed Red trying to control her inner wolf and the fact that Ruby trusts Snow/Charming so much. *love hearts*

Two things I didn't like however was 1. They killed Gus Gus! Billy the mechanic was Gus Gus the mouse from Cinderella! Whaaaat? Gus Gus, noooo D: 2. Effing Spencer/King George needs to die, him and his damn rent-a-mob (cuz seriously, he rented his angry mob and gave them pitchforks and everything. What a bitch.)

Into the Deep - So David, not wanting to put Henry in jepoardy again by making him go back and talk to Aurora in dream land times pricks his finger on the spinning wheel and goes in himself, what a man! A lot of people say the writing is bad on Once, I put it down to it being meh, they are fairy tale characters. Aurora and Mulan? Love them, love everything about them. Cora and Hook? Well they are beating out Regina and Gold for the evil power couple.

Queen of Hearts - Regina is such an odd creature. Half the time I hate her, the other half she's not that bad, not bad at all. In this one she sends Hook to kill her mummy, Cora who is the Queen of Hearts while in Neverland. We see where Hook and Cora's odd relationship began. Meanwhile in Storybrooke we get a bit of Gold and Regina trying to sabotage the portal, some Gold/Belle (it's growing on me) And an epic fight scene between Snow, Emma, Hook and Cora. In the end, Emma and snow go home and Snow wakes David up. YAAAAAY.

The Cricket Game - This episode was interesting as we saw the Charmings ready to off Regina in fairytale world. Snow decided not to kill her! It was like you saved my life once, now this is me saving yours and what did Regina do? 'I'mma gonna curse everyone!!' she really holds grudges to the extreme. In Storybrooke Cora proving she's a terrible mother frames her own daughter for Archie's death. (It's okay, Archie isn't really dead!) but daaamn that time when we thought he was? D: And Regina's face just crumbled when they told her.

So apparently, they read Pongo's mind to see what went on, didn't Pongo see Cora also morph some random guy into Archie and then choked him while being Regina? You're leaving stuff out there Pongo! Archie is underused in my opinion, I like him and I think he should be around more.

Extra lolz for this one - Henry and Emma walking in on Mary-Margaret and David. LOL.

The Outsider - There is always that one episode that makes you like a person in this show, like with Abigail/Kathryn for instance with What Happened To Fredrick (I really wish she had come back for this season.) This is the episode that made me like Belle more. The accent is still terrible and awful and I cringe when I hear it but she looked rather stunning in this episode. Things that annoyed included that when she went off to look for the monster, she was the only one ever with booksmarts to catch him? No one else in fairytale land can read?

Meanwhile Belle being the adventurer she is boards Hook's ship, rescues Archie (YAY!) and watches as Hook gets the snot beaten out of him by Gold. Damn boy, you need to be a better pirate if a guy with a cane can kick your ass. In the end he gets his own back as he shoots at Belle, causing her to cross the line and get amnesia, I kind of squeed at that really, I'm terrible.

Most heartbreaking moment of this episode however was the ~funeral~ for Archie, Mary-Margaret saying nice words about him and Marco putting his umbrella next to the grave *my creys* all I could think though after seeing that scene is where the smeg is August?! Why isn't he here?! It really annoyed me that he just sort of buggered off early on and we haven't seen him since. I want my Pinnocchio/Geppeto reunion!

In The Name Of The Brother - Interesting things happened in this one, mostly we got to see the tale of Dr Whale! His backstory, how he apparently is the only doctor in the hospital :p Poor Dr Whale, he tries. He tried with his brother and looked what happened. Deep down he is a good guy, he just needs some guidance. Maybe in the form of Ruby? Yeeeah I ship Red Whale, it's my ship.

So yes, one of the interesting things is that an outsider came into the town from outside! How peculiar! What does one do with such a person? I don't know if I buy that he is a normal guy though, the person who kept ringing him while he was in the hospital was listed as 'Her' who lists their girlfriend (I'm assuming) like that. I am looking forward to see where it will be going.

Yeah I probably left a bunch out, it's late. When the new ep comes on, I am so doing these weekly again.

Next up when Once returns, Emma/Gold road trip!

Now this is an odd one, I originally went into it being a fan of Sex And The City and I was interested in what their take would be on this. First off, Annasophia Robb is excellent as Carrie. You can tell she studied the way that Sarah Jessica Parker talked, the way she did her monologues and what not and it is really a credit to the show.

The thing that threw me off was the differences between the two series, like in The Carrie Diaries her dad is still present while in SATC he is not, it's cool though because I like her dad :D

A lot of people on Tumblr got all butthurt when Carrie and Sebastian broke up in the most recent episode and I just can't take that seriously. Why? Because you know at some point she's gonna get older, dress worse and marry Chris Noth. That is why I feel this could have been done much better if it had been a sequel, if she had been Carrie's daughter.

I'm still watching it though, it's okay.

once upon a time, mega post, the carrie diaries, review
