Socks, silver and a poll of ultimate pointlessness
Why is it so hard to find packs of all black socks for women? It's either all white, or some random assortment of black, navy blue, tan, light blue and argyle(!) as the darker option. I want a six sock pack of only black socks! Has anyone else ever had to resort to buying boys' socks as the only option for getting reasonably priced black socks you can wear inside boots? Or am I just looking in the wrong place (Kmart)? On the good side, I might not have gotten socks yesterday, but I did get chicken wings. Food = happiness.
The first flight of stairs at work smells of the charcoal test we used to do in Chem lab in high school. Ah, Chem lab, how I loved you even though I hated Chemistry theory with an undying passion. Anyone else secretly smuggled out silver flakes from many test tubes of silver nitrate and ammonia?
