Is it awful of me to hope that Harry is one of the two slated for death? Just so that I could see the fandom explode? I was holding out hope for the "Rocks fall and everyone dies" ending, but barring that ( Read more... )

You should play Kingdom Hearts. It's not much better than FFVII, but at least the game itself is SHINY LIKE WHOA. There's just enough of a fandom to keep you coming back for more.

Also, I agree on Host Club and it's good to see our fandom mindmeld is still going strong. (If I could only convince you to like Kyouya/Tamaki with a side of Kyouya/Tamaki/Haruhi, we would be GOLDEN. Mori/Haruhi = WIN, though.)

And I pine for when I can get my computer back and check out Suzumiya Haruhi. I've heard good things about it and your comments just make me want to watch it more.

(There are TWO Jyu-Oh-Sei episodes out that I can't watch because I don't have a burner to put them on CD. THIS IS KILLING ME.)

I really want to, but I don't even have the system, much less the games. I keep promising myself that after I graduate and it won't matter that I'm a goldfish, I'm going to blow a paycheck on all the games I've been hearing about and play for weeks.

I do like Kyouya/Tamaki. They call each other mommy and daddy. Tamaki started it and Kyouya played along with him. That was enough to make me look at them more closely. The chapters where they first meet and become friends...I mean, how many people have seen Kyouya lose his cool? How many people have made him lose it? The face Tamaki shows is always 100% honest, but how many people have seen what Kyouya sees? They're two people who have a difficult time getting really close to other people, but they're close to each other.

I'm in a weird place with Ouran. Normally, I jump on slash pairings, but because I like Haruhi so much I focus on shipping her with everyone. I'm not a fan of Tamaki/Haruhi unless it's done exactly the right way, but Kyouya would make it an interesting. Plus ( ... )

I know I kept saying I was going to rent a PS2 console and rent some games (only rent KHII by itself, it will EAT YOUR LIFE for about a week), but I probably wasn't going to until the nephew got one and then I said OH WELL MIGHT AS WELL. Also? Walkthroughs are MEANT to be abused and followed along religiously. Setting the game on "easy" also helps a LOT.

I admit, a lot of my Ouran shipping comes from liking Kyouya best of all. When I try to ship Tamaki with anyone else, a part of me quails and goes, "But what about Kyouya?" I really think a part of Kyouya is kinda a little in love with Tamaki, he gets a certain look on his face around Tamaki, he seems much more interested in Tamaki than anyone else, he'll do things for Tamaki that he wouldn't for anyone else. He's not even annoyed when Tamaki looks at him with tearful eyes and whines Kyouya's name to get him to show him to his room at Nekozawa's mansion ( ... )

(I really don't understand why Tamaki/Haruhi doesn't appeal to me. Even before I watched the anime--though, the anime's overemphasis on the pairing to the point of completely and totally changing the manga's tone and pacing has certainly made me even less charitable towards it--something about it didn't click right with me. Maybe it's that Tamaki's always trying to make her girly and cute when that's just not Haruhi's nature. I'm not sure if he really likes her, which is strange because Tamaki's got good instincts. He's a total moron, but he's still a brilliant student and he knows people.)

(....which is why I like Kyouya/Tamaki so much. Because Kyouya is using him to get ahead with his father, but Tamaki knows Kyouya wouldn't ever cross a line. He lets Kyouya save Haruhi in the pool to go for the crown, who else would he have done that with? Tamaki's not stupid enough not to realize that Kyouya sets some of these things up, but he also knows that there's a good person under Kyouya's calculating exterior. And he's rewarded ( ... )

Hi there *poke* I was just stalking people through LJ, and came across your particular journal. Had to comment and say that I like your background, 'Pain is how you know you're alive.'
