Well, I'm up and running again.

Shiny, new computer (that I really shouldn't have bought just now) does loads of stuff that I'll never have a use for (GarageBand?!?) but - on the big plus side - this one can burn stuff... which is interesting. *phew* Trent's operation went well, the lump was removed in its entirety and the biopsy results showed that it was benign *dances* I, of course, was already imagining the worst. I had quite high hopes for the BBC's new adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. This was even though I thought Marc Warren a poor casting choice for the Count himself. I'm glad(?) to hear that the powers that be have come to the conclusion that the so-called War In Iraq is kinda like the Vietnam debacle. This is what most right-thinking people thought would happen even before the country was invaded.
