I'm glad(?) to hear that the powers that be have come to the conclusion that the so-called War In Iraq is kinda like the Vietnam debacle. This is what most right-thinking people thought would happen even before the country was invaded. Once again I'm completely underwhelmed by the intelligence of our leaders and not at all surprised by this. Admitting it is one thing, but the most important question is... well... what are they going to do about it?

The weather here is still uncommonly warm for October. It should be chucking it down with rain, blowing a gale and getting frosty overnight. There are still midges flying about and I saw a Peacock butterfly the other day.
And Global Warming doesn't exist?!?
Chyeah! Right!

Watched the first two episodes of the Dr Who spin-off series Torchwood last night.
It has... potential. For me it was a wee big clunky and it lacked the humour that I so love about Dr Who, but definitely... potential.

Arty proclamations:
I want to go to Tate Modern and play on Carsten Höller's slides.
I think that Mark Titchner is most likely to win the Turner Prize.
For all that that's worth. I know I risk being branded a Stuckist by saying that, but... so be it (and I love my Conceptual art too much to ever be a Stuckist *G*)
