Long time, no post
It's been some time since I've visited LJ so... time for a general update methinks.
I ended up not taking the job I was offered. Might seem a foolish decision and I'm not so sure that it won't ultimately end up coming back and biting me on the bum, but I just didn't feel at all good about it. For one thing the pay was... well it was crap, the hours were longer, the one late night to 9pm would've meant a rather risky walk down through Glasgow city center to catch the train from the lower level (i.e. dungeons) of Central Station after a 45 minute wait *shudders*, plus there was no means of advancement. It was a dead end. So now I'm back to square one and quite relived about that.
I'm actually going to apply for Primary Teacher training. Long hours and hard work, but I think I'd enjoy it. Applications have to be in by the beginning of December so I have time. I just hope that I get in.

Bonfire night was one of the loudest yet. When I was young (no, it's alright... I'm not going to get too preachy *G*) it was the light-part that was impressive and now it seems to be the noise-part.
The cat was held hostage for longer than he liked because of it.

On holiday for two weeks and my first day off I have to get up early so I can buy NIN tickets. Mother actually did a wee happy dance when I said I managed to get through. Yes, I'm taking my mother to see Nine Inch Nails *G*
