Fiday I made 100 dollars from babysitting. And I had a lot of fun! We mostly did artwork. At the Printy's we painted and with Madison and Trinity I colored with crayons. Madison was too into her video game and Trinity was really involved in organizing monopoly money. They went to bed at around Nine, but Trinity kept getting up! Ah! It was ok though. Trin and madison are Michagin fans as are their parents. I really like their parents. They seem like really nice people even though they root for the wrong team.
Amanda and I watched the game at my parent's house! It was awesome!!! I was getting so nervous that all my muscles were tense and the next day they were soar. Jake forced Jenna to say she was a Michagin fan... but we all know she really isn't. After the game, I drove Amanda to Paul's. The trafic was horrible! I think I used a quarter of a tank just sitting in the same place on Lane. When I got home I watched Life Is Beautiful. Valerie came home and watched some of it with me. She seemed to like it. I LOVE THAT MOVIE! I was exhausted after the movie and Kistina came home chatting up a storm like usual. I told her, "I'm sorry. I'm too tired. I can't listen right now." I need to talk to her at somepoint because I feel like whenever she enters a room she demands attention. It's tiring.
I was thinking... what if some natural disaster had happened on Saturday that had killed off the entire city of Columbus and left it covered in soot. Then thousands of years later, archeologists excavating the area found the remains of people all dressed in the same colors and wearing nuts around their necks... they'd probably think it was a relgious cult or something... which it kind of is. Just something I thought about.
Sunday I woke up and took the Minnesota girls to Jam. I went to my parents house and printed out my teaching, then drove back to Xenos and went to CT with the girls. I had to leave early and make my way over to Grandpa's nursing home for thanksgiving dinner. It was really fun. The food was good and I got to talk to Grandma about where she was during Pearl Harbor, and then she told me about her political beliefs and how she used to wear an FDR pin on the butt of her P-coat. Pretty funny.
I worked on my teaching somemore and then went to prayer, which was really good. I drove Lindsey and we picked up Valerie and Rachel from city barbeque then headed over to ABS. I taught. It was ok... not the best, and I felt a little awkward and unprepared... but oh well! I think I need to pray more as I prepare to teach. I had fun talking to the kids afterwards! I met Walter, Aly's cousin, and he seemed nice. Colin acted crazy as usual. It was great.
Val, Rachel, and I went to McDonald's afterwards and the guy at the drive through kept making weird noises. Then I drove them around campus and around downtown. It was fun. I've had such a great time getting to know them. We got home around 11:15 and talked til 1:15 in the morning about our church and their weekend and everything. We went to sleep around 1:30 or 2:00.
I woke up this morning and drove them to the airport at 5:30! I'm so tired. I went back to sleep when I got home and slept through my classes. I have a headache...
Gotta go deliver packages!
