Hello Journal. Yesterday was a very eventful day.

I went to History class and got my Charlemagne paper back. I got a B+ on it and no comments on errors in the content or anything. My TA made it a B+ because I used the words "pretty", "little", and "very" too much and at times I used passive voice. Sometimes passive voice is ok! It makes me mad that I get don't get an A because of my picky TA.... rrrrr...
Then I went to work and had possibly the most boring time ever. I probably played minesweeper for about an hour total.
After work I rushed home and Kristina and I went to the airport to pick up these girls from Minnesota. Their names are Rachel and Valerie and they are here with a bunch of people from their Bible college to see the way Xenos does youth ministry. Rachel and Valerie are staying in our attic. It's gonna be fun! These girls are both really talkative and really nice!
Haha, when we were waiting for them at the airport Kristina was talking to Carrie on the phone and Carrie said, "Look for a guy named Ike and a guy named Mike." Kristina relayed the names to me and I said, "Mike and Ike? No way, tell her to shut up!" Kristina did. We didn't beleive her, but it turned out to be true. Mike and Ike are staying with the guys this weekend. :) hehe.
So, we dropped Rachel and Valerie off at this dinner thing they had to go to, and we went to the guys house for spaghetti. I met this guy Jeremy who was a "socialist libretarian" (odd huh?) and we had an awkward conversation. One of the reasons I hate talking about politics: When I told them I saw Bush at Nationwide arena, Jeremy and Tia got visibly tense. I hate that.... it's as if as soon as they knew I disagreed politically with them they became different people and was different to them. Anyway, Jeremy and I talked about colonialism and WWI and stuff. He's a history guy, and he's very opinionated. Here's a bit of our dialogue...

Jeremy: All of the problems in todays world were caused by colonialism.
Me: So you saying that Colonialism was the cause of all the problems in the world?
Jeremy: Yes.
Me: So there weren't any problems before colonialism?
Jeremy: No there were problems... I'm talking about the Middle East and oil.

He would just make these blanket statements and then I would continually have to get him to narrow it down to what he actually meant. The conversation got better when I started jokingly accusing him of being a michagin fan. hehe... He kept asking me if I was trying to get him killed. He was a pretty nice guy.
Carrie and I were talking at one point after dinner and she was admiring one of the boys' chairs. So we decided that it would be fun to steal it. We took it outside and put it in her car without anyone noticing and drove it to her house then came back. Hahaha! It was fun. We called the ordeal "Operation Flump". Good times.
Katie and I picked Rachel and Valerie up from CT. We took them home and got them set up. we wre going to watch friends but then we started talking and kept talking for hours! It was fun! I told the girl's about squirrely and they thought that was funny.

Today I woke up and came to work. I'm supposed to hangout with Sandeep later and then babysit the Printys and then go babysit Trinity and Madison. I'll be making money today.

I need to go get gas and stamps.
