Thanksgiving/My Birthday was awesome! I just feel so blessed by God. He has truly given me so many good things in my life and I can't beleive I don't think about that fact more! God's goodness to me is overwhelming!
On Wednesday I helped my cousin Sarah move into my parent's basement. She is the second Floom cousin to have done so and I think she will enjoy it a little more than the first did. It's beginning to look more like an actual room down there! I'm really excited to have her living there because it means I will probably see her a lot more often. Yay!
Thursday morning (Thanksgiving!) I went over to my parent's house early in the morning and we drove to Canton. The Floom thanksgiving was small but very! Then we played games! First I played cornhole. I did pretty well i guess, but mom was absolutely amazing at it! One after another she would send the bean bags into the hole. I don't know how she did it, but she and Uncle Greg ended up beating Luke and Jake 21 to 1. It was fun to watch. Jessica and I went on a run/walk (the running part was only down the driveway, which is pretty long). We talked about her life and her boyfriend todd. When we got back we played a game of croquet which I sucked at terribly! But I won the second game. It was glorious!
After my victory I went inside and played a very interesting game of dominoes with my aunts. That was followed by dinner and a great conversation with grandpa. Then Virginia and I drew pictures. I had some pretty awesome drawings... maybe they will be in a museum someday. :)
In the morning I woke up to a call from Katie saying this boy Crispan had died thanksgiving morning. What a horrible thing! But, he is with God now and that is where I long to be. Irene talked with his mother the other night and was very encouraging to her. I love Irene!
Everyone was cleaning Grandpa's house on Friday. It is such a dump! It looks like a crazy person lives there and I guess that is kind of true. His oven is full of dishes and papers cover his floors. Many pictures of grandma sit on his tv set and in his living room. It is so sad. I can't even imagine what his life is like... having lost the one he loved and living alone with no friends or work to occupy his time...
We had lunch at Uncle Norm's and Elizabeth and Virginia both made me presents for my birthday. I feel so loved by my cousins. Uncle Norm made me a cake and they sang Happy Birthday to me :)
I'm really tired so I'm going to write more tomorrow... night night!
