Those evil..nepalese?

I almost forgot to mention I had the strangest dream and actually woke myself up crying. Yes THAT strange.

I've never woken myself up crying before and this wasn't even over something I had happen to me. The story was as if I was dreaming someone else's life and was that person. Which is not that uncommon but some parts of it were waaay out of even my character and wtf Nepal? I didn't even recall they were having a war out there.

The setting did change to Holland and my old house though so it seemed like my country was at war. A sort of ten minute war.

It started with me in the shed where I was burning incense to honor my ancestors and appease the spirits. (yeah SO not my world) When a helicopter opened fire on me through the open door while I ducked. It was seriously upsetting, not like watching a movie or having a fantasy dream. They actually seemed to come back later because they hadn't killed me yet and then I got hit in my right calve, a few grazing shots.

Then I was in some sort of meeting in my village and I had to vacate the front row because the ministers/VIPs had to sit there and somehow that felt like such an injustice to a warvictim. And I started to tell them my story that no one had even asked me yet and that was so sad I was crying and woke myself up with it.

It was rather fluent crying and came easier than my normal own crying. The story felt really real but lacked something that made me thing that it wasn't about how I myself would have responded. Normally my dreams are full of my character even when I'm doing uncharacteristic things for me. And really, Nepal? Honoring my ancestors and getting shot by a ratty looking helicopter!? It may have taken place in my world but that was not my dreamworld, I think some wires may have gotten crossed in the Universe.

Mickey was sleeping on a chair next to my bed and made a bit of contact mew at me when I was crying/waking up and I didn't have a bad feeling afterwards. It was just a weird thing to dream, like reliving someone else's experiences.
