Nadia had been in extremely high spirits for the past month. Being engaged wasn't even the tip of the iceberg for her, because she was more happy just to be alive and living with Eric. She wasn't sure that she could pinpoint the moment that she fell in love with him, but she knew that it hadn't been something she was looking for, but when she found it, it felt like everything else could have waited.
They had opted to go to dinner, as an anniversary of their engagement type deal. It was incredibly romantic Nadia had agreed, especially when Eric pulled her chair out and had placed a soft kiss to her cheek before returning to his own seat. The dinner had been lovely, and they tried not to talk about the wedding, but of course most times the conversation just traced over that way regardless of anything they did or didn't do.
She had ordered the salmon, and skipped the wine list for the evening as well, simply enjoying her glass of water. Eric had ordered steak and one of the establishments house brews, which wasn't different from any other meal they had enjoyed. She could have ordered for him no matter where they had chosen to eat, and that small fact was a slight comfort to her.
When the meal was finished they had brought over the tray of dessert items and both of them made a choice. Nadia was waiting for hers when the waiter came around to offer her some coffee, her hand lifted over the top of the mug smiling softly, "No, actually I'm fine thank you."
At the raise of eyebrow from Eric, Nadia smiled her chin tucking down lightly, then returning to his curious glance. "I've been thinking, and I'm sure it might be too soon for these actual thoughts, but there is something that I'd like to talk to you about."
