Adventure is just bad planning
"How does this always happen? Do you have some sort of beacon coming from you that says 'look at me, I'm a potential strange threat, come kill me!' because it really does feel like it," the Master growled in annoyance as the two of them hide behind a nearby building to avoid the angry people that had been following them. Not exactly out of the norm to be chased by residence, it seemed. If he had any idea how to talk to these people or something then he could of tried to prevent a conflict as it was... But he'd be the first to admit that he didn't have any idea what this planet was, it was more a random selection just to try and keep themselves amused.
Being stuck in the TARDIS without a place to go tended to make them both quite snappish and destructive, it was much wiser to keep on exploring than have a day off.
Course, one thing lead to another and they had walked on some holy ground by accident apparently, upsetting the local residents. How were they meant to know, no one had put up a sign!... Or they had and they were too busy bickering to see it. Well, anyway, they were demanding retribution for the person who first stepped on said holy ground to smooth thigs over with their Gods. The Master couldn't be certain which one of them it was but he was sort of hoping it was the Doctor.
