So, in about 5 hours I'm going to be losing my internet connection, possibly for three weeks! Our old provider is cutting us off, and thanks to a small SNAFU (isn't it always the way?) our new provider can't hook us up immediately. Computer is FUBAR, it won't allow us to access internet, posting this via mobile phone. So won't be around until prob fixed. Grr.

It seems that LJ or Yahoo has eaten some of my notifications again, so if you commented in the last two weeks or so and I haven't replied then I'm very sorry. I'm trying to go back through recent entries, but I'm bound to miss some, especially if they are on older posts. If it was important then please comment here and I'll get back to you.

Because this just makes no sense to me.

Judging from the neon colours I'm currently looking at and the rolling horizontal stripes, it's a safe bet that our graphics card is knackered. As soon as it's fixed I'll be scanning that Highlander article for those who want to read it.
