I called him Buster when he was so young I wasn't sure he was a boy. Now, I think his real naming-of-cats name can only be Bustopher Jones!

I saw him limping late Saturday afternoon and was giong to call the vet this morning, except that he vanished after breakfast. I was wondering today - if I were offered a robo-cat to be the faithful companion of my old age, would I take one? Find it a satisfactory substitute for a real cat?

Suppose it were as soft and cuddly as a real cat?

And what features should it have or lack to make it a good pet?
