Chess in Concert will be hitting a cinema near you soon. Hollywood Reporter's saying the Tim Rice musical will be shown in movie theaters in September.

We were supposed to have the trailer for Chess yesterday, but apparently some last-minute revisions are being made. Sad! In the meantime, I'll let you all know that the DVD/CD combo (pretty sure it's a combo) will be released in the US on June 16 - yes, that is the day BEFORE it airs on PBS. Exciting!

The TV Critics' press tour is going on in LA right now, and PBS's new line-up was the first one to go under fire. Turns out, Chess (and probably Idina's Sound Stage concert) were part of the "promotion" (for lack of a better word), and Idina was there to impress the critics with a mini-concert.
