PS Tutorial Conversion.
I am a part of the GJ icon tutorial community and there seem to be a lot of new people there. Not too many use PS, like I do, so they usually have to translate the tutorials that I do post over there to their programs. Usually, this isn't an issue since my tutorials are very easily followed, or so I'd like to think. However, in the last few months, I've been receiving questions from people with PSP and they seem new to the program. (I, myself, have never seen the program, so I cannot usually answer their questions.) I feel completely useless. So, I was wondering if anyone with PSP 8 and/or 9 (if they aren't the same) could answer the following questions:
- Where would a person change the master setting changes on a certain layer? Such as, "copy original image, drag it to the top of the icon and switch the setting to soft light"? Where would they go to do that?
- The settings "burn" and "dodge" are used, but what are their equivalents in PS? PS has linear burn and linear dodge, as well as color burn and color dodge. Are either of those the same as "burn" and "dodge" in PSP?
- Does anyone have a screen capture of their PSP pallette/screen so I can get a general gist of where to send these newbies?
