Everything is aligning....perfectly. :D

Or so say the people at the orthodontist office! I went in dark and early this morning to get my ninth(!) Invisalign tray, as well as the next few months' worth of trays. It was pretty thrilling to click in the new trays and have them fit perfectly, without any trouble. (Getting them out, on the other hand, is another matter. They fit too well.) My orthodontist was pleased, and I'm glad that my being anal about not wearing them less than 22 hours in a day is paying off.

Soon I'll hit the six month mark, then it's just...another year-and-a-half before I am done! But, a quarter of the way in is better than starting at the beginning. I'm really just looking forward to the one tooth that's being forced back to pass under the tooth it is currently under, so I'll stop having resistance when I bite down/chew on anything. I can't actually close my mouth as of now, so I've gotten used to resting my tongue between my teeth as a cushion. Not being able to speak normally has actually forced me to become better at pronouncing words, which in a way is pretty awesome.

In other news, I recently got the third season of Hetalia, and already I crave for more. I need more silly things like this:

I was already interested by history. It's so much more amusing when country relations are simplified to human relations, in this case, two brothers of different mindsets trying to play a simple game of catch. Heh. Oh, Canada, I do want to visit you again one of these days...

In non-gaming news, I'm getting a bit frustrated with my work schedule. Seems whenever a game is happening, I have to work. When game isn't happening, I don't work. Mondays are suddenly days off again, while Thursdays and Saturdays are not! Guess I should be glad that the only game sort of happening right now is Dark Heresy, although even that is going to be hard to attend if I keep closing Saturdays. What with church being on the early schedule this year (we meet at 9 a.m.), sleep is definitely going to have to take precedence.

...to be honest, I'm surprised Xanthia's still walking at this point. Oh wait, that's right - she's hobbling now. Seems whenever I do make a session, she gets maimed somehow. On the plus side, I got smart and "bought" the Miraculous Survival feat, so the GM can throw whatever he wants at her! ...at least once per session...

Argh, I should be productive today, but I'm so blah from a bad night of sleep last night! At least I don't go in to work until 6, but that just means even more time to be a lazy lump!

Edit: Whoops, I forgot! I learned something new about Ralph the other night!
