Puppy power!
Man oh man, puppies have this amazing ability to supercharge me with POSITIVE ENERGY! (So no, nothing about Scrappy Doo here, thank goodness.) A woman came in shortly before we closed, and she had the friendliest Papillon puppy! She works a full-time job and has to leave her puppy in a crate while at work, so she let me get away with showering her puppy with love. The puppy was so silly! Already I was using both hands to pet both sides of her body, but it wasn't enough! She jerked her head back and forth to get some loving there as well! Before all was said and done, my fellow closer also came over to give the puppy attention, so the puppy finally rolled onto her back for a proper belly rub from four hands. She was really soaking it up!
...I really can't wait to have a dog someday. I'm still feeling so happy!
Another reason to be happy, Christmas has passed, and Etsy sales are still trickling in! The whole shop was an experiment, so I'm really happy that it's done fairly well, and is continuing to do something every so often. Now I'll feel much better about working on some little Minotaur critters that I hope to add to the shop soon.
Maybe I'll go do that now. I need to use up this energy!
(Also, I'll blame my boyfriend being around much more as of today, so I'm actually feeling pretty thrilled. We can go on actual dates! Gasp!)
