Ahhhh

Today is the second day of Fall. Quite fittingly, we had our first cold front yesterday, even though the morning started off hot and sticky and disappointingly humid for the kickoff of a new season. Front blew in around nine or ten yesterday morning, so the windowless office upstairs missed all the fun. We all did manage to make excuses to go downstairs to check out the wind and rain though, which made the morning go by a bit faster.

If this pattern continues, I think I might drag out one of my more lightweight type seasonal shirts. I need to go clothes shopping something awful. I also need to pay off as much of my credit card as possible before heading off to Ren Fair, so clothes shopping may have to wait until after November.

Speaking of November, I've updated my NaNo profile, dusted off last year's novel (that never got around to being edited, no matter how many good intentions I had of doing so) and am ready to start drawing out an outline for the plot. Tentatively naming this one "Desperately Seeking Wizard" or "Single Witch, Looking for Warlock" or something along those lines. Previous "Every Thing She Does Is Magic" got that song by the Police stuck in my head, so that's a no go, as well as probably being a copyright issue.

November: bring it. I'm so ready. *cracks knuckles*

Haven't been on in a while, and there's not much that's happened since my last post. Coworkers T and M came over to make headgear for the fair and we plotted going to the weekend one in Ingleside in December, as well as heading back to the TRF the very next weekend (it IS Highland Fling weekend afterall. Guys in kilts = fun times.) I need to buy a memory card for my camera, and I'll more than likely be sharing any and all pictures that I manage to take.

fall, weather, nanowrimo, ren faire a go go
