founder flounder
i've taken a break.
i have two major items and a minor to record. the other major is my fabulous wonderful good-feeling trip out east last week. the minor is our present visitors, my high school friend john and his wife, susan. the most pressing for me personally right now is:
founder of my floundering dot com fired (or the boat has sprung a major leak and celine dion is singing the blues)
so i came in this morning and there was this email saying one of the founders has been fired. this is the founder who actually looks out for us, the u.s. office, at the headquarters in london. london does not naturally remember to consider us. this is not great news. that founder's brother works in this office and it seems he has been made the point man for attending to the fired founder's affairs. in addition, moments after we received the email a big wig from london came sweeping in. the remaining brother cleaned out the fired brother's office and big wig plopped down. apparently there is some shortcut from london that i am not aware of
