deer. quail. bunny. chipmunk. hawk (and hawk nest). ducks.

trees. stars. campfire and campfire smell. good food cooked on campfire. cards. boggle. more cards. more boggle. cozy tent sleeping. fresh air. having all you need. not having anything to worry about. feeling accomplished and relaxed.

i had a great time. i love car camping. who cares that it's not as arduous as climbing mount everest? it feels wonderful and it's fun. meredith and allan took such good care of us, cooking meals, having supplies and card games at the ready (500, sort of like spades, i love it). sitting around the campfire on saturday night talking and roasting marshmallows, looking up at the stars. and i love our little tent.

we: yuh (oh, like guest guests)
she: ok then, do you want a free towel?
we: sure (can we pull this off?)
she: ok, what's your room number?
we: uhhhhh (uhhhhh)
she: if you don't remember i can just take your last name
we, me actually: uhhhhhhh, it's buh, buh, buh, brown, b-r- (for those of you who don
