In one of
my last posts I mentioned that none of my friends read my stuff.
That was only mostly true. Nick read a few of my very early short
stories before losing interest, Chris did a bit of the same, and Lea
has read I'm not sure what. They've commented on my work, which
is huge. Also, Kate's read half the Snow Patrol novel, so kudos
to her. She's also promised to read the rest of it...
Brian has
been very interested in reading anything I write about his characters,
so anything with Gideon Ross gets read, everything else pretty much
disregarded. Though we did have a chat on track 11 of Breaking
Benjamin, which was enlightening. Everyone seemed to enjoy that
one.
And Jamie
has read practically everything I send her way. YAY!
Because sometimes, when you live in Utah, there's really not a whole
lot to do. Grin.
So I make
this apology for everybody. You rock, and once again my
expectations are getting the better of me. I love you all.
This is for you (no, not you, you):
"This is how it begins,
push it away but it all comes back again
all the flesh, all the sin
there was a time when it used to mean just about everything
just like now.
Breathe echoing the sound
time starts slowing down
sink until I drown
I don't ever want to make it stop!
And it keeps repeating
will you please complete me?
Never be enough to fill me up
Watch the white turn to red
You close up the hole but it grows somewhere else instead
all my life yeah yeah yeah yeah
but it just left me dead
the world is over and I realize it was all in my head
now everything is clear
i erase the fear
i can disappear
please I don't ever want to make it stop
you can never leave me
will you please complete me?"
