My reasons for being anti-christmas
Christmas is a sucky time of year, and this is why:
a) everybody freaks out. They drive like fools, they get in my way at registers, they're rude and evil and nasty.
b) people, like my brother, ask for ridiculously expensive things, because people buy themselves the stuff they want, normally. So it's like this every year: his Christmas list is like two things that both cost seven hundred bucks or more. Unbelievable.
c) people don't like what you buy for them, and you don't really have the money to spend.
d) every stupid store you head into has stupid christmas carols that super suck for like five weeks. I don't want to hear it, especially not all the awful overplayed ones.
e) it's cold, and it snows a whole bunch, and just when you think you're about to have a white Christmas, all the snow melts just in time for Christmas Eve.
f) there are lots of expectations that I don't want to deal with: how you're supposed to be extra happy for the holidays, how you're supposed to sit down with the family for xmas dinner, how you're supposed to go to church even though you don't believe, all that crap.
