Since last checking in things have shifted around on my list o'shiz

I have secured the following:

1. seat in German 1120 course, officially
2. 3 letters of recommendation (Bryant, Pullen, NdG)
3. chosen the AP Art History text, officially, and am gathering data
4. lesson plans
5. renewed Flicker supscription

I've secured the following:

• seat in online German 1120 course for the summer (online)
• 2 letters of recommendation for next application attempt
• chosen a book for AP Art History

I am waiting on the following:

• reply from Dr. Pullen on letter
• reply from Oxford University Press on Teacher's Manual for Athenaze

My time in Florida has come to an end for a time. Tomorrow I'm off to Atlanta until the 3rd of July, then to Kokomo, Indiana to spend the rest of the summer with mama. I'll likely be there until August 10th since I report back to school on the 16th.

Things that are going on with me. Ugh. I've been MRI'd and Ultrasounded to the ground. 2 things have been discovered: I have a minor hear murmur, and some sort of nodule/legion on my thyroid. Given that all my hormones related to the thyroid are normal and I haven't dropped dead...it doesn't appear to be anything other than a defect I may have...I ( Read more... )

I am on the alternate list for the ASCSA summer session. Alas, this means that I probably can't go as I can't unless I get that full scholarship from American Councils, which I doubt I will get being an alternate.

Sad times.
