My time in Florida has come to an end for a time. Tomorrow I'm off to Atlanta until the 3rd of July, then to Kokomo, Indiana to spend the rest of the summer with mama. I'll likely be there until August 10th since I report back to school on the 16th.
Alas, the summer is not all fun and games. I have to prepare for AP Latin IV (provided I even get to have the class. I don't know why they even wanted me to create an AP program for Latin if they aren't prepared to let me have a class of 7 students - which is pushing it in regards to the maximum recommended ratio of 8 student per class in an AP language class - I asked the principal what she was expecting when she asked me to do this and she couldn't seem to answer me. If I don't have the class, then who knows what I'll teach. I hope it's not Spanish I) and all my preparing may end up being for naught, too.
I'll also be preparing for the GRE and getting my shit together for PhD applications. I foresee a summer mainly indoors.
Productivity!!!
Joy.
