I've been informed that the people of Amestris, specifically the military, may be interested in an alliance with the Gotei 13. I'm not entirely convinced an official alliance is best for the situation, but better relations and communication with the larger groups in the city are things I can't discount ( Read more... )

I can understand your apprehension, Hitsugaya-taichou. Until we know this group better, talks sound like our best option. Are there specific issues they are concerned about?

In the past alliances were usually suggested for the sake of defending against an enemy, so that would likely be their ultimate goal as well. But I haven't been officially informed of anything specific.

None as of yet, but alliances aside, cooperation could prove useful in the future, especially considering those among them who are alchemists.

It is not exactly neutral territory, but I do not think they will object too much.
