I've been informed that the people of Amestris, specifically the military, may be interested in an alliance with the Gotei 13. I'm not entirely convinced an official alliance is best for the situation, but better relations and communication with the larger groups in the city are things I can't discount.

I understand Ukitake-taichou is ill, but now that the storm has passed its climax, I don't believe we can afford to delay a meeting or at least a discussion any longer.
