IT WORKED! IT LIVES!
Um, yeah. That's a teen up there. And he's wearing a Maxis outfit, the mesh of which I added a preg morph to. AND IT WORKS! Now to figure out the default replacing dealy-thing...
And I'd like to make an observation, just because: As much as people complain about how ugly TS3 Sims are, I have to say that "vanilla" TS2 Sims are pretty dang ugly, too. *laughs* I'd totally forgotten, since I've had so dang many Bodyshop defaults for so long in my actual playing user account on my comp. You know, face shape template replacements, default custom skintones, default custom eyes, default custom eyebrows, default custom hair colors, yadda yadda yadda. The result being that the Sims that come out of CAS or that get created as townies in my actual game are usually pretty darn good-looking, at least IMO. But I create stuff in a mostly CC-free user account on my comp, in order to keep down game-loading time for testing purposes, and it has no Bodyshop defaults in it. So these guys I pulled out of CAS to test these outfits on are...Yeah, they're not very attractive, I'm afraid. *laughs*
Not, of course, that I'm thinking of defecting to TS3. *laughs* Not in the slightest. My beefs against TS3 have absolutely nothing to do with how the Sims look. I'm just sayin'. ;)
Anyway, the Man-Ternity Project is apparently proceeding apace. I've done about a dozen full-body outfits now, and they've become fairly easy to do, so now I'm thinking about trying my hand at some separates. So, you may all cower in terror now...
