Before I got lazy and started using Zipcar all the time, I made a lot of trips on the MBTA Commuter Rail between Boston and Providence for visits to home and whatnot. Unfortunately, service to Providence only ran on weekdays, so on weekends I either had to pony up the extra money for an Amtrak ticket or have someone pick me up at South Attleboro ( Read more... )

Good thing we're getting new fare gates soon.

Ever since Google Maps (and its subsequent API) appeared, I've been fantasizing about building an interactive map of the MBTA's subway and bus system.
