Today has been a karma rollercoaster. It started too damn early since both joannahurley and myself have been bad and not going to sleep on time at all the past week. Alarm sucks when you haven't gotten enough sleep. Anyway - off to church and the christmas brunch.Once again joannahurley didn't get any quiche, but she had a Cunning Plan - namely to make 3 and bring 2 :)

I am in Ray Catena's Edison service center right now, waiting while they do the 10K service on the Smart. Nice place. Free food, they make the coffee for you, there's a shoe-shine chair, a pool table, several complimentary internet stations. It's way swankier than the Ford dealers I have been too.

NBC has on their website all three eps of the new Knight Rider as of right now. (OK, I'm taking their word for it since I haven't actually watched it, but I see no reason not to believe them). That's really interesting, as the 3rd ep is due to air tonight.

I decided to take the Smart for its first wash under my ownership. Was getting gas at a BP that also had a car wash. Figured $8 wasn't outrageous.
Well, the Smart was a leetle thin for the machine. I was worried about the brushes scratching the panels. Turns out I needn't have been - the side brushes didn't touch, and the top brush only hit the ( Read more... )

I see the result of people not heeding this on my commute every time it rains or snows.
