Who would’ve thought that out of all this year’s housemates, the gay corset making intruder would be left as one of the final two? It’s certainly a first for Australia - now Zach stands to win the Big Brother prize money of $450,000. That’s a lot of corsets.
It was a dramatic double eviction last night, and when Gretel announced that Aleisha was in the final two she broke down and cried. “Oh my God, there’s a girl in the finals!” she said. Gretel then gave metrosexual oaf Travis his marching orders.
Once it was just the two of them left, both Zach and Aleisha sat screaming to each other, “What are we doing here?!”
“It’s cool that it’s a girl and a gay guy in the Final!” said Aleisha.
“This is not a dream… surely,” said Zach. “It just doesn’t feel real.”
How refreshing that Big Brother this year hasn’t conformed to the regular, predictable result of having two straight men in the final two. It would seem the new voting system has stopped the bland from flying under the radar.
Same Same has also had an anonymous tip off that there will be a Mardi Gras style float at the finale tonight in Zach’s honour. First David and Sherif singing Summer Rain and now this. God, that show just continues to get gayer.
The country will watch with baited breath tonight to see who comes out on top. No pun intended.
