We did our taxes and I want to cry
Our tax appointment was awful. We went in knowing we would owe some money, but left completely shell shocked at just how much Uncle Sam says we owe him. It kinda ruined my day. The crappy thing is that we had money set aside for taxes and it won't even cover 25% of what we owe.

I felt like a zombie all afternoon. Some tough decisions need to be made. We also had some money set aside for our vacation to Hawaii. Maybe there was a reason why we haven't purchased our tickets yet. Even if we take the money we set aside PLUS our vacation money...that barely gets us halfway there.
We owe the state of California almost as much as we owe Fed.
