We fast forwarded (with captions on) through most of last night's Top Chef Finale.  We were THAT interested in who won.  (yawn)  But it was nice to see Michael Voltaggio and it reminded us that we want to go back to Bryan's restaurant sometime soon.  Hopefully next season will be better ( Read more... )

We started going through our season passes tonight, realizing how bored we are with many of our selections.  Shows tossed off our list include a few that are probably not going to have anything new coming out (including Survivors from BBCA), but also Burn Notice and Lie to Me.  We've yet to watch the season finale of Burn Notice, barely made it ( Read more... )

Last night we had dinner with cmdln_user  and andreahg , followed by lots of laughter and then the urgent (?) need to watch Blazing Saddles.  They also let us borrow their copy of BlackAdder Back and Forth, which is one of the only BlackAdders I've yet to see.  R and I watched it tonight and enjoyed it muchly.

You should.  Funniest show in a long time, and the kid who plays Raja the exchange student is terrific!

Another fun one is Pushing Daisies.  Cute, quirky, but I wonder how long they're going to be able to keep up the highly stylized essence.
