We watched the first episode last night and enjoyed it.
2 points, though.
1. Um, Harvey, didn't the NYPD have any sort of pension plan? Shouldn't you have been retired for at least 4 years now?
2. While we were worried that the americans were going to take a perfectly perfect british tv show and screw it up, what they did was take a perfectly perfect british tv show and copy it almost exactly.
So, we enjoyed it, but now we're left wondering since we've already seen the british series, should we bother with the american series?
On the otherhand, back to british series, we're watching a mini series on PBS called "The Last Enemy" and are thoroughly confused and delighted by it. Plus it's got Robert Carlysle, you know?
