I drove out in the country today, and when I got to Keslinger and 47 I saw what looked like a bunch of plastic bags in the grass. Except one of the bags was black and was moving. This time of year, seeing a bunch of white plastic bags caught on overgrowth? Totally normal. But that black one kind of resembled a chicken. As I got closer, I realized they really were chickens, all of them, about five white ones and a black one, and they were totally just chickening about. Like chickens do, of course. I've never seen chickens at this corner, and in fact was under the impression that the house was potentially abandoned, since one of the property's structures is basically falling apart, but no. At the very least, it's inhabited by chickens. My day always brightens when I see chickens.
