School drools?
I should be working on my song variation, but I just can't do it. I'm not hearing anything in my head, so I can't write anything down. I have an idea of where I want to go with it, but I need to ponder it for a while. The good news is that I do like what I have so far, and, this being the choral variation, I've figured out how to fit the words to the patterns I have for the first verse. One measure in particular was kind of funky and I wasn't so sure about it, but after playing with it this morning, I think I'll keep it as is. At the very least, it adds interest.
Meanwhile, I've done very little of anything. I've just been so tired as of late, and I figure I could use the rest. I did manage to get my reading done for today, and the only reading I need to do for tomorrow is for my night class, so I have time to get that done.
The one thing I'm kind of annoyed about is the bake sale. I never heard anything back about when and where stuff needs to get dropped off. I emailed the girl twice from my school email, and CCed a non-school account to make sure it went out; my other account received it and my school account got a confirmation receipt. Sigh. I figure I'll run over to the student activities building after my morning class and drop off what I have. Worse comes to worse, my classmates get brownies Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Eh. I realize, at a commuter school, it's hard to get everything organized, but still. If you can't do something you signed up to do, at least let people know so they can take over for you.
Anyway, the baking will commence when I get home this afternoon. I figure I can read and bake at the same time.
