I am getting high off of day-old paint fumes. Please bear with me.
Laura and I got together to do nothing special. We are both so indecisive.
Places visited:
--Pet store (can't think of name!). Saw multiple cute puppies. Enamored with lhasa apso/maltese mixes (me); weimaraners and dachshunds (her). Amused by parakeets. Nibbled on by cockatiels, two of them (me--more Kirby jealousy).
--Hobby Lobby. Cooed over sooo soooft yarn. Didn't buy anything.
--Starbucks. Finally used my $10 gift card as probably the only person to not buy liquids there. Bought cranberry scone, toffee bar, caramel nut tart, and chocolate covered cherries. Only had to spend $.85 of my own money. Sat and chatted for a while (with the sun streaming in my face--moved my chair several times).
--Michael's. More cooing over yarn. This time Laura bought stuff, including cool, colorful ribbon yarn.
--My work. Forgot paycheck yesterday.
--My house. Debated whether or not to go out to eat. Brought her in the house as mom was not in--mom flips out when people come over. Showed Laura semi-completed laundry room as well as laundry appliances out of context. Mom showed up, yelled at me (complete with shoulder whack), then showed Laura her Halloween dolls.
--Colonial. Dinner. But we each had breakfast...
--Books at Half Price. Poked around for a bit. Used bookstore, we're into books, it was cool.
--Circuit City. Pointing out horribly wonderful and horribly awful movies. Laughing.
Good times were had by all.
