Time to put the heat on
We had pleasant weather through part of the weekend, and then the wind showed up, bringing fall with it, or at least attempting to. There have been a few nights recently where I've felt chilly, and then last night I was cold enough that I had trouble sleeping. I had two extra blankets nearby that I could've grabbed, but that would have required getting out from under the covers I already had, and that would have made me colder, so I toughed it out. Bad call, but made sense in the moment. I've finally started wearing my jacket; I was holding out for a while. The long sweater I keep in my work bag has sufficed up until now, but with low temperatures in the 40s when I get out of band and work, that's not going to cut it. I don't like being cold. In fact, I've put on the sweater *and* the jacket, to be honest, along with the sweater and undershirt I already had on. Still could've used more, but it was tolerable.
