I've never really been an Andy Griffith fan, but I *loved* Three's Company as a kid.
Then, when I was in high school, we had this running joke that one of my classmates was like a young Don Knotts. We had to write stories in Latin, and somewhere in a booklet I have "Knottsus est Rana" (Knotts is a Frog...don't ask). So, in a strange way, I have fond memories of Don Knotts.
Do you think God said, hey Don, come and knock on my door?
