Welcome to the frozen tundra
Welcome to this year, same thing as last year.
No, really, it was this time last year that the super cold stuff came to town. On the 6 o'clock news tonight, they even replayed last year's forecast to show how cold it had been. It hasn't been *that* cold today--we got into double digits! On the plus side!--but yesterday was colder and tomorrow will be frigid. If we're lucky, we'll hit the single digits (on the plus side). We're supposed to go below zero tonight. If I didn't mention it, my dad got a little weather station from his coworker for Christmas, and I was watching the temperature drop steadily while making dinner tonight. In just over an hour's time, it went from 8.2F to 6.3F, I think it was; it was 5.9F the last time I checked. When I made breakfast this morning, it was 0.1F. When I washed my bowl after, it was 0.0F. Curious to see if it'll go below zero before I go to bed tonight.
