-money does NOT grow on trees.-

i wish it did though.

yesterday i brought my WRX in for it's 30k mile service. oy such joy to shell out $620. then as i'm getting the lil' guy, i find out that i not only have a screw in my left front tire but i'm now due for an alignment (seriously, what is the deal with ALL the cars i've owned getting a screw in the tire? first the pathfinder, then the del sol and now my baby, WReX?? i'll have a conniption if my bike gets one too. shiet). alright, let's say that's about $100 worst case scenario for that. AND THEN, yes it gets better, as i'm getting my tire patched, i find out i've gotta change my tires (actually, i was kind of already expecting that but i didn't think it would be on the day that i get slammed with all these other things. OMG), which for the ones i want, will run me $540 (with the military discount). SERIOUSLY. can i just get a friggin' a money tree to grow in my backyard?!??! OY! when it rains, it pours. bloody hell.

thankfully though, my del sol which the hubby has so very lovingly done a service on, is there so i don't really need to shell out ALL that money right away. my tires can wait another 3k (but i'd rather not) and my alignment can get worked on within the next week or so.

no more 'fun' shopping for me for a month. not cool! there goes my retail therapy. LOL.
