"I want you to notice, what you've been missing"

Now for news on my life, in no particular order:

-I have finally internet! Yay! It is so good to be back.

-Recently taken with Frigg, particularly with her relationship both as a mother and a sorceress. I like how sorcery is used to give her power that speaks of her being a much older goddess than Nordic tradition would allow. Most likely she was originally a much older earth goddess that then got adopted and molded. It is going to take work to write from her voice though. I mean oracles are always hard to write from, it is damn hard to seem omniscient when you are not after all, but she poses a special challenge just because she also needs to have some degree of protection in her voice. She needs to be gentle without being overly so and it will be a delicate balance to write. I like the challenge and I have some nice scenes of her to play out as Tyr, Loki, and Thor are growing up in her care.

-Slowly I am learning to navigate dead blind through the apartment. I get up before everybody else so I always feel like I should not turn on the lights because. I just view it as character research for any blind characters I may have. I almost feel compelled to create one now, but I have nothing except for "So they are blind, you see". First I would need a world to put the character in first.

-Starting to finally get a grip back on my mind. I may become more Vulcan while doing so, but I'm actually really okay with being a Vulcan. Seriously Spock is amazing, why would I not want to be that logical?

-Preparing to dance at a festival at the end of the month. I hope it goes well. The theme this time is pirates.

-Found a neat new game to play with friends. Basically there is a theme. Everyone goes around in a circle thinking of songs that fit the theme and singing parts of them. Whoever blanks on one first loses. It is helping me gain some confidence in my singing voice.
