"It's like we're our own Brat Pack, we're always kicking back"

Held a vampire murder mystery last weekend. We had a good turnout, about 35 people participated. It was pretty interesting. I was a socialite gossipy woman who got murdered. The timing of the murder was perfect. I was talking to this woman, a very ugly woman, and was being very passive aggressive. She then said she had something very important to tell me and lured me over to a shadowy corner. The line went something like this:

Her:Well I heard there were about 20 bodies under this place. It really disturbed me.
Me:Well isn't that fascinating. *makes notes about how this is probably bullshit*
Her:And you know what else disturbs me?
Me:Do tell, please.
Her:When dumb bitches call me a man. *stabs me*

It was lovely, people were not even five feet away and didn't see it done. She got me before I could even cry out. Then she cut off my face and threw me down a sewer grate. People didn't even find out I was dead until the end of my night when they started tracking the blood spatters through the sewers.

Then I got to be a cult leader. All went very well, even with seven deaths happening over the course of this event. I feel energized when I do these events because I have people who have been acting/doing vampire things for 20 years complimenting me. I feel shiny.

In other news I have been working a lot. oh boy, counting mayo packets.

Tried out for a play, but for my first audition the only thing I could try for was the lead. Oh well, I guess my typical reaction of trial by fire is the only way I am going to be able to do things. Doubt I'll get the part, but at least I tried.

Got some more Thor comics. Going to read them slowly over the next few days.

In music I have been addicted to The Rocket Summer lately. They have a really nice pop-punk sound that I have been addicted to. Kind of remind me of the band Cartel that I listened to through high school.

I hope all has been well with you fine folks.
