I almost cried
is that what all mothers are like? do you get treated as if who you really are doesnt matter as much as who she wants you to be?
I will probably never grow up or be okay until i can let go of all of this. I cant let her win..its just hard.
Mother: "Why are you so determined to make things difficult?"
Me: " Determination is an admirable quality ..isnt it?"
Mother: " You are throwing your life away and its not amusing."
Me: "Im sorry your not entertained mom..but Im living my life the way I want too..just like you do. "
Mother :"Your still a child..its not the same."
Me: "No its not the same and Ill tell you why. Because no matter what I do, say, wear, how hard I try..it'll never be good enough for you."
