Grrr. I can't figure out how to write a turning point. At what point does someone stop doing drugs? What would make them decide to at least attempt to stop? An intervention of friends and family? If they've been asking her to stop all this time, then what would make her listen to them then?
I might wind up putting that off a little longer, waiting to see how the rest of the story plays out.
Anyway, on a completely different subject, I made Kyle watch The Notebook with me yesterday. It's such an incredible movie. I just love it, even though I cry every time. Which may have alarmed Kyle a little bit, but he handled it very well. At one point, he asked me "why do you continue to watch movies that make you cry?" Haha. And then we were at the scene with Allie in the bathtub and she had her wedding veil on, and he had no idea why she would be wearing it. I had to explain to him that girls wear dresses when they're upset. I mean, heck, when I'm feeling lousy, I put on my prom dress and watch TV in it. Haha. Or am I the only one that does that? I might just be weird like that.
