Do not take pills in capsule form without water.
I know you have all done it any number of times without any incident. So have I. But I'm here to tell you that when the inevitable incident happens, it's really yucky.
There is nothing more bizarre than burping while driving down the road, and having a green powdery cloud errupt from your mouth. The dust when up my nose, all over my steering wheel, my dashboard, and completely coated my mouth with a substance so nasty the makers felt it necessary to protect your tongue from it with a layer of gelatin. It took more than an hour to get the taste out of my mouth and for the burning in my throat to subside.
Just wait till you have something to drink before taking your medicine. It's just not worth the risk of yuckiness.*
*note: I will admit that if anyone else had been in the car, it was likely funny as hell. But not for me. Blechk!
