I think all of these entries express an image of war that opposes the glorified media images of war. War is not simply about heroic acts. The way that Betty Basye describes the injuries she saw and the people's reaction towards injured soilders shows the ill effects that this media hype on war has had on us. So, today I finally got my transcript in the mail. And I have 91 Grade Point Average. Maybe for some of you geniuses out there that is not so impressive, but considering I did nothing for a whole entire year and stil managed to stay in the a range, I am pretty proud. In exactly 9 days I am getting contacts, I can not wait! Speaking of which I think I lost my glasses again, which is not good considering I have to go to work in an hour.
